
Kurt Fauerbach
Head of Workplace
As senior vice president and head of Workplace Retirement at 91ÂÛ̳ Engines, Kurt leads 91ÂÛ̳ Engines relationships with some of our largest and most complex recordkeeping partners and employers. He is responsible for the strategic planning and oversight, pricing and profitability, and overall management of these relationships. Kurt leads the teams that successfully service all the firm’s sponsors and providers, creates and delivers institutional marketing communications, and configures and implements newly signed sponsors. Today, the workplace solutions are available at nearly 700 of the largest employers who represent more than 10 million 401(k) participants and more than $1.5 trillion in retirement assets.
Kurt joined EFE in 2008 and has held various leadership roles within the workplace business. Additionally, he helped lead the integration project of 91ÂÛ̳ Engines’ acquisition of The Mutual Fund Store in 2016. Prior to joining 91ÂÛ̳ Engines in 2008, Kurt spent ten years as the Chief Operating Officer of a large, Massachusetts-based, not-for-profit organization where he managed the firm’s Human Resources Department and retirement plans along with serving on the organization’s Investment Committee.
He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant University and an M.S. in Public Affairs from the University of Massachusetts, Boston where he was valedictorian of the M.P.A. program.
