Head of Technology

Jeff Suarez serves as the senior vice president and head of Technology leading the software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and IT operations teams. He first joined EFE in 2021.

With over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Jeff combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence. As head of Technology at 91ÂÛ̳ Engines, Jeff is responsible for overseeing all aspects of software development and technology operations. In this role, he leads teams which architect, develop, deploy and manage the enterprise systems that power the EFE business.

Prior to joining 91ÂÛ̳ Engines, Jeff served as Chief Technology Officer for a startup within the Fidelity Labs Incubator, where he led the development of a pioneering hybrid advice solution specifically designed for the retirement industry. This position followed his entrepreneurial journey as co-founder of Financial Diligence Networks (FDN), a platform that securely connected alternative investment funds with investors and streamlined due diligence processes. FDN was successfully acquired by Novus in 2014.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Computer Science from John Hopkins University.
