America's Greatest Workplaces (National) 2023: Newsweek's ranking ofAmerica's Greatest Workplaces 2023 was based on a large employer survey of companies in the U.S. that employ at least 1,000 employees across all industry sectors. Evaluation and scoring of survey responses considered factors such as familiarity with and likelihood of recommending the company, company image, corporate culture, working environment, work-life balance, training and career progression, compensation and benefits, sustainability awareness, proactive management of the diverse workforce and media monitoring of press coverage for the previous 24 months. These factors were used to calculate an "America's Greatest Workplaces for Job Starters" score for each company. Client experience was not considered. Corporate Equality Index: The Corporate Equality Index rates employers from nearly every industry and region based on an annual CEI survey administered to hundreds of major global employers. To earn top ratings, employers took concrete and dedicated steps to establish and implement comprehensive policies, benefits and practices that ensure greater equity for LGBTQ+ workers and their families. The CEI rating criteria used considered four key pillars: nondiscrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility.
